Find AdaptiveSurvey
This page explains where AdaptiveSurvey appears in Jira and Jira Service Management. It does not cover full configuration yet.
Open AdaptiveSurvey
Section titled “Open AdaptiveSurvey”After installation, AdaptiveSurvey appears under Apps in Jira. Select AdaptiveSurvey to open the app.
Empty project state
Section titled “Empty project state”When no JSM projects are configured yet, AdaptiveSurvey shows an empty state.
This means the app is installed and opens correctly, but a JSM project still needs to be added in AdaptiveSurvey Settings.

Section titled “Open app settings”Use the three-dot menu next to AdaptiveSurvey in Jira apps, then select App settings.
AdaptiveSurvey Settings
Section titled “AdaptiveSurvey Settings”AdaptiveSurvey Settings is where Jira admins manage the JSM projects the app should support.
Use this page to add a JSM project later. Project setup and permissions are covered in the next Get Started pages.
Jira terms
Section titled “Jira terms”Atlassian is rolling out new Jira navigation terms. These docs use both terms where helpful:
- JSM space/project means the Jira Service Management project or space shown in Jira.
- Work item/issue means the Jira record behind the request.
