Permissions
AdaptiveSurvey uses project-level permissions in each Jira Service Management space/project.
Jira admin access does not automatically grant AdaptiveSurvey project access. Grant AdaptiveSurvey permissions in the JSM space/project where users need to view analytics or configure settings.
Where to manage permissions
Section titled “Where to manage permissions”- Open the Jira Service Management space/project.
- Go to Space settings.
- Open Access.
- Open Space permissions.
- Find the AdaptiveSurvey permissions.

Section titled “AdaptiveSurvey permissions”| Permission | What it allows |

Common mistakes
Section titled “Common mistakes”| Problem | Check |
|---|---|
| User cannot see the JSM project in AdaptiveSurvey | Grant View project analytics for that space/project. |
| User can view analytics but cannot configure | Grant Configure project settings. |
| Jira admin cannot configure AdaptiveSurvey for the project | Grant the AdaptiveSurvey project permission explicitly. |
| User has AdaptiveSurvey permission but still cannot access data | Confirm the user also has normal Jira/JSM access to the project. |
